Treasure of gifts for Bihar in budget

The gift given by Dulari Devi to Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman by the Bharatiya Janata Party can prove to be the best gift given to Bihar in the budget, where assembly elections are to be held later this year. Sitharaman went on a tour of Mithilanchal for a program. There he met Padma Shri Award winner Dulari Devi, who is a famous artist of Madhubani painting.

She portrayed her village scenes on a white saree with a golden border, depicting flying butterflies and bouncy fish. She gifted the sari to the Finance Minister and requested to wear the same sari while presenting the next budget. Accepting her request, Sitharaman came to present the budget wearing the same sari today.

Union Minister Ashwini Vaishnav was asked what the budget means when he came out of the Lok Sabha after the Finance Minister’s budget speech, he said, ‘Manufacturing, manufacturing, manufacturing! MSME, MSME, MSME! Bihar, Bihar, Bihar. He was asked what the budget meant for him. Makhana production will be promoted through a Makhana Board funded by the Center in Bihar (Bihar contributes 98 per cent to the production of new -age superfoods in the country).

Apart from this, some budget measures such as expansion of new airports in the state, expansion of IITs in Patna, promoting Buddha tourism circuit and support of farmers to Mithilanchal have been taken especially for Bihar. For this, Kishanganj MP Mohammad Javed had put a lot of emphasis. These gifts given to Bihar can not be criticized by any MP from the state, but some satirical comments were also made from the opposition camps. As soon as the Finance Minister started the budget speech, the Trinamool left the Congress and the entire opposition reached the seat of the head and later moved out of the House.

The Samajwadi Party (SP) led it. Rahul Gandhi and Priyanka Gandhi were present in the House. The Congress did not try to stop the SP, as Akhilesh Yadav and his colleagues were trying to raise the issue of the death of devotees due to a stampede in Prayagraj Mahakumbh. Congress MPs were also raising the slogan of ‘anti -religion Modi government’ but they did not lead the uproar but were only participating in it. However, a few minutes later, the opposition returned to the House. On this, BJP MPs ridiculed him by saying ‘Namaste’. Earlier, during the budget speech, the case of the Opposition from the House would hardly be shown.
