Akzo nobel india Q3 results: Akzo Nobel India Limited, the company that makes paints and coatings, released its third quarter (October-December 2024) on Friday. In the third quarter, the company’s profit declined by 4.56% to ₹ 108.6 crore. The main reason for this is believed to be the increasing cost of raw materials. The company earned a net profit of ₹ 113.8 crore in the same quarter last year.

The revenue from the operations rose by 1.72% to ₹ 1,050.5 crore, which was ₹ 1,032.7 crore in the same quarter of the previous financial year.

The total expenditure of Akzo Nobel, which produced duals paints, rose 2.32% to ₹ 910.3 crore. Akzo Nobel’s total income, including other income, increased by 1.47% to ₹ 1,056.5 crore in the December quarter.

Talking on the result, the company’s chairman and managing director Rajiv Rajagopal said, “In Q3 FY25, we gained growth in both volume and value despite many challenging circumstances. Strong demand in Infrastructure, Power, Mining, Marine and Real Estate sector has speeded up the B2B segment of paints and coatings. ”

He further said, “Through a balanced cost management, we maintained profits and prevented the impact of raw material prices falling on the margin.”

Akzo Nobel India Limited’s shares were trading at ₹ 3,635.10 per share in Friday afternoon trading, with a gain of 0.18%.

Akzo Nobel India Limited is a major paint and coatings manufacturer manufacturer manufacturing, making, distributing and selling duals brand paints in India. The company was founded in 1954 as the Indian Explosives Limited (IEL), a joint venture with the Government of India. Its name was changed to IEL in 1985, and in 1989 it became known as ICI India. In 2003, when the government sold its stake, the company’s name was changed to Akzo Nobel India Limited.
