The December quarter profit of Jindal Stainless was ₹ 654.27 crore, which was ₹ 691.22 crore in the same quarter last year. That is, a decline of about 5%. The reason for this was the softening of stainless steel prices. However, the total income of the company increased to ₹ 10,006.41 crore, which was ₹ 9,166.42 crore last year. The expenses also increased to ₹ 9,101.90 crore, which was ₹ 8,262.66 crore a year ago.
On Wednesday, the company’s shares gave tremendous performance and closed at ₹ 636, showing a lead of 3.44% against the previous day’s ₹ 611.85. Throughout the day, the stock also made a high of ₹ 639.60. The total market cap of the company has now reached ₹ 52,391.75 crore.
