Donald Trump said- Putin should compromise with Ukraine, otherwise ban will be done

US President Donald Trump has said that Russian President Vladimir Putin should ‘compromise’ with Ukraine. Trump said he would meet the Russian President as soon as possible. Earlier, he had warned his Russian President to end the ‘stupid battle’ in Ukraine or to face high fees and restrictions. Trump, who was sworn in as the 47th President of America on 20 January, said this on his social media platform ‘Truth Social’ on Wednesday.

Talking to reporters in the ‘Oval Office’ on Thursday, Trump said, “I think he (Putin) should compromise.” When asked if he feels that the ban on Russia would force Putin to talk, he said, ‘I don’t know’. He said, ‘Russia should make a compromise. They may want to compromise. I think Putin would like to meet me according to what I have heard. And we will meet as soon as possible. I will meet immediately. Soldiers are being killed in the battlefield.

The US President said, ‘No such battlefield has been seen since World War II and I have pictures that you would not want to see. Every day such a number of soldiers are being killed, as we did not see in decades. It would be good to end this war. This is a ridiculous war. ‘

In response to another question, Trump said the Ukraine is ready to compromise. Trump said, ‘He (Volodimir Jailonsky) is ready to compromise. He wants to stop. He is a person who has lost a lot of soldiers. Russia did the same. Russia lost more soldiers, they lost 8,00,000 soldiers. He also warned that if the ceasefire agreement was not reached soon, they will have no other option but to ‘any item sold by Russia and other partner countries to the US and other partner countries.’
