Three global companies are discussing for an agreement with the government to create a desi graphic processing unit (GPU) in India. Artificial Intelligence (AI) is prepared through GPU. Hulit Packard Enterprise (HP), Advanced Micro devices (AMD) and NVDia are talking to the government about this.

According to a senior government official, the discussion is going on and the agreement will be decided soon. But Nvidia spokesperson refused to comment on the issue and HPE and AMD did not respond to the email sent in this regard.

Recently, Electronics and Information Technology and Railways and Information and Broadcasting Minister Ashwini Vaishnav said in a conversation with Business Standard that the government is under discussion with the government for Make in India GPU and the government will support it.
