Budget 2025: Keep these railway stocks including IRFC, RVNL, Titagarh

Railway stocks to focus on budget day: Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman will present her eighth budget on Saturday (1 February). This is the second general budget of Modi 3.0 government. Investors’ eyes will remain on the proposals of budget 2025 in today’s trading session. Before the budget was presented, domestic stock market benchmark index Sensex and Nifty were opened in green mark in special trading session on Saturday (1 February).

Meanwhile, government and private railway stocks like IRFC Limited, RVNL Limited, IRCON International Limited, RailTel Limited and IRCTC Limited and Titagarh Rail Limited increased by 4% in Intra-Day on BSE on Saturday. In the budget, these shares have gained momentum due to the expectations of big aquette regarding railways. This led to a rise of up to 9% in these shares on Friday in the last trading session.

IRFC shares are trading with a gain of 2%. Shares of RVNL and Railtel are running 4%. While Titagarh Rail shares are trading with a gain of over 5%.

Explain that in the Union Budget, the government is expected to emphasize on major infrastructure sectors like roads, railways, airports and urban infra structure. If there is an increase in the Capital Expected to the Railways, then the entire sectors will benefit from it.
