Alerts for those wearing apple watch, claim to be harmful chemicals in the band; Case filed

Tech veteran Apple has been charged serious allegations in a new case. It has been claimed that Apple’s “Ocean,” “Nike Sport,” and “Sport” Watch bands have been found to be dangerous chemical perforalulkils and polyphluorolycil substations (PFAs), called “Forever Chemicals”. According to the report, these chemicals are related to serious health problems such as cancer.

PFAS chemicals are called “Forever Chemicals” due to their nature, because they neither end in the environment nor from human body.

These dangerous -keymicals have been linked to reproductive problems in addition to birth defects, prostate, kidney and testicular cancer. The lawsuit has been filed on the basis of a study, in which 22 watch bands of various companies were tested. The investigation found that PFAS chemicals were present in 15 bands.

These allegations related to Apple’s watch bands have put the company in trouble.

Apple made a false claim?

Tech giant company has long claimed that its watch strap is made of synthetic rubber called fluorolystomer, which contains fluorine but does not have harmful PFAs chemicals. The company says that fluorolesomer is safe and has been tested well keeping in mind the health standards.

However, these claims have been challenged in a lawsuit. It has been alleged that Apple has hidden the fact that PFAs are present in its fluorolystomer-based strap. In addition, other ingredients have also been used, which can pose risk to health.
Question on Apple Watch Band

Apple Watch bands are promoted for health tracking. These bands track the heart rate of users, counting of steps and gold patterns.
But in a new case it has been claimed that the product that promises to improve health can bring users in contact with harmful chemicals.

The case has put forward the contradiction between Apple’s health claims and hidden threats in their products. This is the same Apple Watch that the company introduces as a device promoting health.

However, in a statement to DailyMail.com, Apple said, “Apple Watch Bands are completely safe.” The company also stated that it conducts its products and their content not only at its level but also through independent labs.

But the petitioners allege that Apple did not inform the customers that some of their products have PFAs. The petition stated, “Apple hidden the presence of PFAS in his watch at the time of shopping and elsewhere.”

The petition also states that Apple could have avoided these dangers by using better manufacturing options. But this was not done and despite this claims of health, welfare and stability were made, which are ‘illegal, inappropriate and fraud’ under consumer protection laws.

Now it has to be seen whether this case will harm Apple’s image or the company will be able to prove itself innocent.
