Ola founder Bhavish Aggarwal today announced to invest Rs 2,000 crore in his Artificial Intelligence (AI) firm Artificial. He said that he would invest Rs 10,000 crore in the company next year too. With this investment, it is the first AI Unicorn in the country to raise capital of about $ 28 million. Apart from the announcement of investment of Rs 2,000 crore, the company raised a capital of $ 5 million from Matrix Partners India in early 2024. According to sources, the company has raised Rs 2,000 crore through E. Quit and debt. However, the company did not give any information about this.
Apart from artificial in the AI region in the country, another company Sarvam AI raised a capital of $ 4.1 million in 2023. It invested LightSpeed and Peak 15 Partners and Khosla Ventures. Hanuman, another company associated with the region, is also planning to raise capital.
Agarwal, the founder of Ola Ele Ele Caste and Ola Mobility, also announced to start artificial AI lab. He said that artificial work is being released for the open source community. The company has also revealed some of its technical reports. Artificial has also announced to open its model in view of China’s Dipcik opening its model.
Aggarwal said in a post on social media platform X, ‘We have been working on AI for one year. Today we are releasing our work for the open source community and also publishing many technical reports. Our focus is on developing AI for India. He said, ‘We have imposed India’s first GB 200 in partnership with Nvidia, which will be operational by March. We will make it the largest supercomputer in the country by the end of the year.
