Information will be shared to the private sector

The government can share data and information based on questions raised by the private sector instead of giving access to the speed power national master plan. Amardeep Singh Bhatia, Secretary, Department of Industry Promotion and Internal Trade (DPIIT), said that DPIIT will soon implement data sharing criteria of speed power national masterplan with the private sector.

Under this, many options are being searched and required information will be one of the safest ways to share data. However, a final decision on this is yet to be made. Currently, only the Ministries and Departments of the Central and State Governments have access to the digital portal for detailed plan and implementation of infrastructure connectivity projects in a timely manner.

During his budget speech, Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman had announced some data and maps to the private sector from the PM speed power portal. This decision can help them provide distribution services to the last person and develop applications related to infrastructure. DPIIT has been holding inter -ministerial meetings in the last two years and has also consulted extensive consultation with various departments and ministries of the government on this issue. The idea behind giving private companies accessible to the national masterplan is that they have to help in the execution of infrastructure projects based on the range of data sharing. But in view of safety concerns, it will also be important to prepare a protocol for access to private users.
